Magnús Trygvason Eliassen has been drumming since the age of 8. He has over the course of the last 20 years, taken lessons from a few of the most prominent drummers in Iceland, including Matthías MD Hemstock, Einar Valur Scheving, Pétur Östlund and Pétur Grétarsson to name a few. He is also a member of a lot of bands and projects, including ADHD, Moses Hightower , K tríó, Sin Fang, amiina just to name a few.

This April Reykjavik’s Harpa Concert Hall comes to life with 24 concerts and events featuring more than 100 musicians, composers and amateurs. The festival will present different genres of music; classical and electronic music, improvisation, noise and many more. 4 different halls will be used to present orchestral, ensemble, chamber, solo music, sound installations and films. In different foyer areas works by Wolff, Globokar, Hildur Guðnadóttir and Icelandic school children will be presented.There will be exciting activity Outside Harpa. Some of the best independent musicians of Iceland will be involved performing classic works as well as new creations.
